Each month, we offer outings and day trips to places all throughout Middle Tennessee (and possibly beyond!). Depending on the trip, transportation is available to/from two locations: Enrichment Center in Franklin and Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill. All transportation times are tentative. Let's do lunch! It's just a bunch of friends going to lunch each month. We might try something new, hit some favorites, or find something off the beaten path. Join us for a fun, social outing. Meet in the lobby of your desired location at 11:00 am. Return times will vary. The cost of a lunch outing is $3 for transportation. Lunch will always be Dutch Treat.

Meeting the 3rd Tuesday of each month, we'll spend the morning bowling at Franklin Family Entertainment Center. Afterwards, we'll enjoy lunch at various local favorites. The cost of Brunch & Bowl is $3 for transportation; Bowling and lunch are Dutch treat. Return times will vary.

"Take a hike" with us as we visit some local walking places. We will hit some local favorites and find some new places to walk and hike. Participants must be able to walk independently on different types of terrain. Some places we go may have easy and more difficult trails for seniors to choose from or we will stay together as a group. You will need to provide your own snacks and water for these outings. This outing is weather dependent and if we need to cancel the outing we will notify everyone as soon as possible. Meet in the lobby of the Williamson County Enrichment Center at 9am. Return times will vary. The cost of the hiking outing is $3 for transportation. Registration is required.

ENRICHMENT CENTER SENIOR TRIP: FOGGY BOTTOM CANOE TRIP
Hit the water with us as we paddle down the scenic Harpeth River in Kingston Springs, TN. We will cover 1 1/2 miles of the class 1 river, so you can paddle or just relax and float. Meet in the lobby of the Enrichment Center at 9am. Return time will vary.

ENRICHMENT CENTER SENIOR TRIP: BRIDGESTONE ARENA TOUR
Come get the behind-the-scenes access to one of the busiest arenas in the world! Highlights include: Zamboni Tunnel, Lexus Lounge, Shooting Room, Nashville Predators Player Hallway, Rehearsal Hall and Team Store. After the tour, we will enjoy lunch at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville (Dutch treat).

AMERICAN ARTISAN FESTIVAL AT CENTENNIAL PARK
The American Artisan Festival has built a history and legacy in Nashville for more than 40 years. Presenting the highest quality contemporary craft and fine art and showcasing 150 artists from over 30 states along with culinary artists and musicians, the 44th annual festival takes place on the front lawn of Centennial Park. We will stop for lunch at Maggiano's Little Italy before arriving at the park. Lunch is Dutch treat.

HISTORIC RAILPARK AND TRAIN MUSEUM
At the Historic Railpark and Train Museum, we will be able to see, touch, hear and explore real railcars from as early as 1832. This historic national landmark holds important artifacts of our regions heritage. It will be a two part tour, half being in the museum, then we will get to climb aboard the remarkable railcars themselves. We will conclude our trip with lunch at Mariah's a favorite spot of Bowling Green locals. Lunch will be Dutch treat.

FAIRVIEW SENIOR TRIP: NASHVILLE ZOO
Lions, tigers and bears, oh my! Join us on a day trip to the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere where we will explore the exhibits of over 365 species and nearly 3,000 individual animals. We will also have the opportunity to pet kangaroos, learn from live animal demonstrations and feed Australian Lorikeets. We will break for lunch at the Zoofari Cafe on site (Lunch is Dutch treat). Cost of the trip covers transportation and admission to the zoo.

LONGVIEW DAY TRIPS
Join us for the next three months as we visit and view different and unique architectural styles. From the early Greek style to Southern to the more modern of Frank Lloyd Wright. See the difference in styles and times as well as learn about art and historical figures like Athena and Helen Keller. Lunch is Dutch treat. These trips are based out of the Longview Recreation Center only.
