This group of seniors bundled up and enjoyed a wonderful tour and lunch at the Belle Meade Plantation.
Each month, we offer outings and day trips to places all throughout Middle Tennessee (and possibly beyond!). Depending on the trip, transportation is available to/from two locations: Enrichment Center in Franklin and Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill. All transportation times are tentative. Let's do lunch! It's just a bunch of friends going to lunch each month. We might try something new, hit some favorites, or find something off the beaten path. Join us for a fun, social outing. Meet in the lobby of your desired location at 11:00 am. Return times will vary. The cost of a lunch outing is $3 for transportation. Lunch will always be Dutch Treat.

"Take a hike" with us as we visit some local walking places. We will hit some local favorites and find some new places to walk and hike. Participants must be able to walk independently on different types of terrain. Some places we go may have easy and more difficult trails for seniors to choose from or we will stay together as a group. You will need to provide your own snacks and water for these outings. This outing is weather dependent and if we need to cancel the outing we will notify everyone as soon as possible. Meet in the lobby of the Williamson County Enrichment Center at 9am. Return times will vary. The cost of the hiking outing is $3 for transportation. Registration is required.

NASHVILLE SYMPHONY & DALTS AMERICAN GRILL
We are taking our annual trip to the beautiful Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Enjoy Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2 and Vaughan-Williams Symphony No. 5 with our Nashville Symphony. Up and coming British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor will perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2. "Mr. Grosvenor makes you sing with joy...a temperance rare in yesteryear, let alone now". - David Allen, The New York Times. Written during World War II, British composer Vaughan-Williams' Symphony No. 5 is his most popular symphony, suffuse with a mood of calm, and filled with lush, pastoral music. We begin with free coffee and pastries at Schermerhorn and then we will be entertained by the talents of the Nashville Symphony. Don't miss this experience! WICKED AT TPAC
Join us for the untold story of the Wizard of Oz. This Broadway musical brings two unlikely friends together who struggle through opposing personalities and viewpoints, rivalry over the same love-interest and reactions to the Wizard's corrupt government before and after Dorothy's arrival to Oz. Since its debut in 2003, Wicked has easily become one of the best, most loved musicals on Broadway. The cost of the trip covers transportation and Wicked ticket.

Join us for the monthly senior day at the Bluebird Cafe. It's a small, 90 seat venue located in Nashville. After the show, we will head over to another Nashville treasure, the Loveless Cafe. At Loveless, we will get to enjoy (but not limited to) their historic friend chicken and biscuits (Lunch is Dutch treat). The cost of the trip covers transportation.

Lions, tigers and bears, oh my! Join us on a day trip to the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere where we will explore the exhibits of over 365 species and nearly 3,000 individual animals. We will also have the opportunity to pet kangaroos, learn from live animal demonstrations and feed Australian Lorikeets. We will break for lunch at the Zoofari Cafe on site (Lunch is Dutch treat). Cost of the trip covers transportation and admission to the zoo.

TROPICANA CASINO FROM THE ENRICHMENT CENTER
Due to popular demand, we are going gambling! Tropicana Evansville is a $212 million entertainment complex, located on the scenic bands of the Ohio River in southwestern Indiana. It includes a 2,700 passenger riverboat casino featuring over 1,000 slot games and 40 table games, including a dedicated poker room. The cost of the trip includes transportation and snacks, $5 in free play at the casino and a FREE lunch buffet. This trip is based out of the Enrichment Center only.

LONGVIEW DAY TRIPS
Join us for a Spirit of TN tour! Are you a Spirit Enthusiast, or maybe just curious about the lost art of small batch, craft distilling? We will tour and taste three different TN distillery's, two in Williamson County. All three distillery's appreciate the history and heritage of premium whiskey (& other spirit) making, using old traditions and local ingredients. Lunch is Dutch treat. These trips are based out of the Longview Recreation Center only.

Ever been bowling? Well, at Topgolf, you play in a "bay" rather than a lane, and from that bay, you hit micro-chipped golf balls into giant targets in our outfield to score points. Scores are tracked through each player's membership card, which can be purchased for $5 on your first visit or beforehand online. Bays are rented by the hour (per bay, not per person), and 1-6 people can play the game in a bay.
