Senior Day Trips
This group of seniors bundled up and enjoyed a wonderful tour and lunch at the Belle Meade Plantation.
Each month, we offer day trips to places all throughout Middle Tennessee (and possibly beyond!). Depending on the trip, transportation is available to/from three locations: Enrichment Center in Franklin, Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, and Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville. All transportation times are tentative. Exact pick up and drop off times will be given to registered patrons 72 hours prior to the scheduled trip. Monday Movie Matinee
Meet us at the Thoroughbred 20 movie theater in Cool Springs to watch the latest movies on the big screen. The movie and exact time will be determined closer to the date. Due to constantly adjusting of times and movies, we will communicate the movie and time 24 hours in advance of the event date. This activity is fully Dutch treat for your movie ticket and concessions. We will meet in the lobby of the theater 15 minutes prior to the start of the movie. Transportation is not provided. Blue Heron & Riverview Restaurant
Back by popular demand! Witness the beautiful spring colors and see some beautiful waterfront homes from aboard the 40' Blue Heron pontoon boat set on the Cumberland River. Captain Jim will guide us through 30,000 acres of wildlife refuge. This trip offers relaxation, adventure, and maybe even some great photo opportunities. Just to make sure we soak up as much of the view as possible we will have lunch first (Dutch treat) at the Riverview Restaurant and Marina. The cost of the trip includes the Blue Heron boat ride and transportation.

Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
Curious how real some of your favorite music stars look as was figures? Join us for a tour of the world famous Madame Tussauds Wax attraction at Opry Mills. Millions of people have flocked through the doors of Madame Tussauds since they first opened over 200 years ago. There are many reasons for this enduring success, but the biggest is old fashioned curiosity! Take a look inside the newly opened attraction celebrating music past and present. After our tour, you can choose one of the many sit down restaurants (Chuy's, Rainforest Cafe, Dave & Busters, and more) or grab something fast in the mall food court. Any remaining time can be spent shopping the stores at Opry Mills. Psst...we are Music City so get ready to rock! The cost of the trip includes admission to Madame Tussauds and transportation. Lunch is Dutch treat at the restaurant of your choice. Registration is required.

Bluebird Cafe and Loveless Cafe
Join us for the FREE monthly senior show at the Bluebird Cafe on July 10! The Bluebird Cafe is a small, 90 seat venue located in downtown Nashville. It is one of the world's preeminent listening rooms and the venue has gained worldwide recognition as a songwriter's performance space where the "heroes behind the hits" perform their own songs. After the show, we will head over to another Nashville treasure, the Loveless Cafe. At Loveless Cafe, we will get to enjoy their historic fried chicken and biscuits (Dutch treat). The cost of the trip covers transportation, the show at Blue Cafe is FREE and lunch at Loveless Cafe is Dutch treat. Registration is required.

Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre
Let's go to Nashville's original barn and most unique dining and theatre experience...Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre! Join us for great food and entertainment when we see "Smoke on the Mountain." This amazing musical tells the story of a Saturday Night Gospel Sing at the country church in North Carolina's Smoky Mountains in 1938. The cost of the trip includes the show, a boxed lunch and transportation. Registration is required.
