Wilkins Branch Mountain Bike Park (TBD)
Williamson County Parks and Recreation is pleased to support the development of the Wilkins Branch Mountain Bike Park. When completed, this will be the first dedicated mountain bike park in Williamson County.
This future park, named after it’s location, will be constructed on approximately 156 acres of hilly and wooded, undeveloped land. This property, owned by Williamson County Government, is located on both sides of Wilkins Branch Road, just west of Main Street in Lieper's Fork, Tennessee.
The concept plan of this dedicated mountain bike park includes miles of single track trail consisting of beginner through advanced flow and technical single track trails, down hill trails, endurance trails, a pump park and a skills course.
The Wilkins Branch Mountain Bike Park is the direct result of collaboration and partnership between Outdoor Encounter (OE) and Williamson County Government through the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR). The goal of this private/public partnership is to provide the public with a premier, free-use recreational mountain bike park in Williamson County.
Outdoor Encounter, a local non profit, is dedicated to creating recreational opportunities for those living and working in the Greater Nashville areas. OE has committed to raise funds for the trail design and construction of the future Wilkins Branch Mountain Bike Park - an estimated cost of $1,200,000. Williamson County will fund and oversee the infrastructure of parking and restrooms as well manage the ongoing maintenance of the various tracks and features as a day-use public amenity.
