Pickleball- Pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court: 20’ x 44,’ with a whiffle ball type ball, a square ping pong paddle, and the net lowered like a tennis net. The first side scoring eleven points and leading by at least two points wins. Pickleball can be played with singles or doubles. Pickleball can be as fast or slow as you want it and is very kind to beginners.

Marné is a nationally ranked USAPA Member in good standing. She also a certified pickleball instructor through the International Professional Teaching Pickleball Association (IPTPA). She has been playing pickleball for 7 years and travels around the country playing in tournaments. She is the #1 ranked doubles and mixed doubles player in the State of Tennessee for seniors in her age group. Currently she teaches beginner and intermediate clinics at Academy Park in Franklin. Nicole Hobson first learned to play pickleball as part of middle school gym class while growing up in Smyrna. She has been competing competitively since 2012 and has been winning medals since the 2012 USAPA National tournament. Nicole is the USAPA Ambassador for Nashville, TN and has been teaching people to play pickleball since 2013. With a passion for the sport and a comprehensive understanding of breaking down shots, one of Nicole’s students has described her 'ability to analyze and communicate how to learn or improve a technique is a gift that not all pros possess.'
