AQUA FITNESS!

A set of  water-based classes designed for beginners to elite athletes. The benefits of excercising in the water are endless: greater natural resistance, but less stressful on joints!   Williamson County Parks and Recreation offers a year-round calendar of ongoing Aqua Fitness classes.

  • Walk-in: (beginning 1-2-16) $8.00 / $4.00 for Seniors (age 55 or older). Fees must be paid at the front desk before entering the pool. 
  • 35 participants max per class
  • Aqua Fitness is included with any Premium Monthly or Premium Annual Pass
  • Free to SilverSneakers® Fitness and Silver&Fit® participants. Present i.d.card at desk.

All classes are open to the public. No registration is required.

Aqua Stretch & Move - Gentle water-based workout designed to stretch and tone the body and ease joint pain due to injury or arthritis while focusing on proper technique and improving flexibility.

Monday - Friday: (9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.)
Power Up! - Medium to high intensity water-based workout using both shallow and deep water approaches with resistance tools.

Tuesday - Thursday: (10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.)
Move! - Medium intensity water-based workout designed to strengthen, stretch and tone the body using both shallow and deep water approaches with resistance tools.

Monday & Thursday: (6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.), Tuesday: (5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
Power Up! - Medium to high intensity water-based workout using both shallow and deep water approaches with resistance tools.

Aqua Kick NEW! - High energy, low impact self defense type movements with beginner kickboxing movements will burn calories increase endurance, coordination, core strength, flexibility, and balance.

Pool Guidelines:
  • Music may be used and that choice is by the instructor.
  • All participants must enter and exit through the main facility doors.
  • Due to liability restrictions, no one under the age of 13 may participate.
  • Anyone age 13 to 17 must have a parent/guardian sign a liability release waiver prior to participation; available at front desk.
Class Courtesies
  • Respect others exercise space. Spread arm width; front, side and back is a good measure to use.
  • Be willing to help someone new understand class exercise.
  • Respect the instructor’s need for silence when they are explaining an exercise.
  • Please return equipment to cart and bin after class.
